On May 22, the State Park Preservation Act was signed into law – marking a monumental victory for Florida’s beloved state parks and wild places.

In just ten months, we turned a reckless plan to pave over our public lands into a law that permanently protects them for future generations. This achievement is nothing short of historic, and would not have been possible without the thousands of Floridians who rallied, spoke out, and refused to back down.

Together, we’ve built one of the most powerful grassroots movements in Florida’s history, and proven that even in a politically divided state like ours – people power still works.
